We had a busy Christmas schedule as usual. We went to Indiana to visit my family the weekend before and we spent Christmas Eve at Jason's parents and Christmas Day at both sets of Jason's grandparents. Mackenzie got lots of good stuff! Clothes, toys....and that pretty well sums it up! Life is so simple as a 6 month old, what else could a baby girl ask for besides clothes and toys?! Actually, she wasn't too interested in the gifts themselves but was more occupied with the wrapping paper. Mackenzie rang in the New Year with a nasty cold and double ear infection. I was quick to follow suit with the bad cold. We are both mostly recovered at this point but we are just finishing up our antibiotics. As new parents, Jason and I were in bed by 10:30 so Happy New Years to us! We had every intention of staying up to watch the ball drop but it didn't happen. The unopened bottle of champagne is still in the fridge. :) Here are a few pictures from Christmas and also some random recent pictures of our little girl.
