Axle quickly found a friend in Mackenzie. Luckily, he has been great with her which is a big relief for us since he is such a big part of our little family! Along with the new addition, he loved mommy being home all summer so he could run around outside and take naps on his dog bed instead of being in his cage all day. Yes he is spoiled, I hate to say it but he has more dog beds than we have bedrooms in our house! But he has accepted being second to Mack better than we expected. I have a feeling he will keep Mackenzie busy as she gets older, and vice versa.
