I have been a little slow getting around to creating this blog. The last few months have been busy. Let's catch up on some things. After a couple days at home in beginning labor, one "false alarm" trip to the hospital, and one very long night once admitted to the hospital we finally welcomed Mackenzie June Spencer on June 26, 2012 at 7:55 a.m. Weighing 7 pounds 7 ounces, 19 3/4 inches long. She already had her own agenda about how she wanted to come into this world. So the plan of having a natural birth lasted up until the doctor was on the verge of beginning Pitocin to get things moving quicker. Before he did that he checked my progress and determined he was feeling her tushie instead of her head. So after some scared tears due to the sudden and unexpected change of plans, into the operating room we went for a c-section. Soon after, we were able to meet our baby girl and our life had changed as we knew it. For the better, of course :) .
