Trip to Indiana

I decided to take Mackenzie to Indiana this last weekend to surprise my family and go to my niece's first birthday party. Jason had to work Saturday and hunted Sunday so I figured why not?! Mackenzie did great in the car on the way down and the way back. She practically slept the entire time.

Being a good girl for mommy in her car seat.

Mackenzie was able to spend lots of quality time with Grandma & Grandpa Eltzroth, Great Grandma & Great Grandpa VanMeter, and her cousins in Indiana. She loved every minute of it.

Yum, those fingers taste good! Hanging out with Grandpa Eltzroth

She woke up with a big smile!

Getting lots of loving from her Great Grandparents. Mackenzie was born on my Grandma Georgia's birthday so she calls Mackenzie her little present. My Grandpa Tom calls her his little Pocohontas because she is part Choctaw Indian from his side and part Potawatomi Indian from Jason's Grandma Spencer's side. Apparently, Choctaw and Potawatomi Indians didn't get along (so I've been told) but I think we've created a pretty perfect mixture!

Spending fun time with Great Grandparents and cousins, Eli and Ellie on Saturday.

Playing with cousins, Eli, Ellie, and birthday girl, Avery. This was the best picture we could get. It probably wasn't the best idea to try to have them stay in one spot after they just had cake and ice cream. :)

Axle missed Mackenzie while we were gone...

...and Mackenzie is happy to be home. Watch this video of her laughing.
